The Humanities Index seeks enthusiastic contributors and editors who are experts, or soon-to-be experts in their fields. Contributors should be experienced educators how have information to share with colleagues and students about their fields of research and interest. The Humanities Index publishes
- short, introductory essays
- expository and background notes
- close readings
- literary terms
- questions for consideration
- multimedia presentations
of all forms of world literature and humanities texts. The content should address some cultural text. General how-to information (writing about literature, sample essays, etc.) is not within the purview of this site. Many of the entries published began as class notes, lectures, or short research projects revised for online publication. If you have an idea for the site, please let us know.
The Humanities Index also seeks energetic editors for various sections based on expertise, chronology, and discipline. Have a section in mind? Let us know.
